Caryatid - By Amedeo Modigliani

A hand-painted reproduction Oil on Canvas of the original work by Amedeo Modigliani. Hand painted museum-quality reproduction oil painting on canvas.

About the Artist:
Amedeo Modigliani, one of the most popular artists of the 20th century, was born on July 12, 1884 in Tuscany. Modigliani's main theme seemed to be nudes. His first one-man exhibition in 1917 was only opened for a few hours because a local police officer was offended by his work. With that, Modigliani left Paris and relocated to Nice where he had produced most of his paintings that would later become his most popular and highest-priced works. Modigliani became seriously ill with tuberculosis and died on January 24, 1920.
